hello all! it’s FD Hopeton again with another Cassette of the month from the Braes Records archive! today we have the project made after Deb went through her Ethio-jazz phase, exploring Tezeta scales with atmospheric lap steel- with DW’s granular drums and my own theremin techniques accompanying her. the cover itself is actually a reference to a favorite project of hers. listen on bandcamp here:
the project was actually made as part of a small series for Saturnite listeners to get into Earth music, and we would love to share more of such, but it may have to wait until the end of the Earth year, as we have some very exciting Braes Records solo artist compositions and our very new, ISFSA Summer Sampler Series coming so soon! stay tuned !
